Luke is a 16 year old singer songwriter from Kent.
He first picked up the guitar aged around 10 and started writing songs soon after. Playing live began with open mic nights and from there things gradually developed and Luke has performed at venues all over England in the past 2 years.
2009 was a great year as Luke became increasingly recognised in the Acoustic/Roots genre, opening for acts such as Julie Felix, Rachel Harrington, Keith James and the great Martyn Joseph.
2010 is going just as well so far as Luke continues to gig widely, has opened for Kim Richey, Megson and has festivals and shows lined up for summer and the rest of the year. Luke is also due to open for the great Steve Knightley in June and has had the honour of being chosen by Steve to play on the main stage at this years Trowbridge Pump festival in July.
It has also been confirmed that Luke will perform at Martyn Joseph's Pipefest in September with Martyn, the legendary Dick Gaughan and poet, lyricist and BBC presenter Stuart Henderson.
