Born Luke Paul Jackson on the 19th June 1994 in Canterbury, Kent.
Luke learned to play the guitar at 10 and soon after started to write his own songs. Luke first played live around 12 at local open mic nights and from there came more formal gigs and over the past 2 years in particular he has played venues all over England.
2009 was a great year for Luke with a very successful Myspace page, collaborations with lyricists Paul Thomas, Charlie Mason and Ken Davis and his own compositions featured regularly on local radio, internet radio and podcasts. Also Luke became more recognised in the Acoustic Roots genre, supporting acts such as Julie Felix, Rachel Harrington, Keith James and Rick Foot and the great Martin Joseph.
So far 2010 is looking just as promising and already Luke has gigs and appearances lined up throughout the spring and summer as interest in him as a songwriter and performer grows.
